Within VION Food Netherlands supplies the business unit Fresh Meat fresh pork and beef to the business unit Convenience. VION Retail Netherlands is a large-scale supplier of fresh pork and beef to supermarket organisations and butchers in the Netherlands.
VION produces ready-made meat products destined for supermarket organisations at VION's retail production sites in Groenlo and Schijndel. These production sites make VION the largest butcher in the Netherlands. The process that takes place there is similar to that performed by a traditional butcher, but on a larger scale.

Subsidiary Encebe Vleeswaren produces meat products for retail and industry.
