VION Fresh Meat West supplies pork and beef to the VION Convenience division. VION Convenience is a large-scale supplier of fresh pork and beef to supermarket organisations, butchers and wholesalers in the Netherlands and abroad.
VION Convenience produces ready-made meat products destined for supermarket organisations at VION's retail production sites in Groenlo and Schijndel. These production sites make VION the largest abattoir in the Netherlands. The process that takes place there is similar to that performed by a traditional abattoir, but on a larger scale.

Subsidiary Encebe Vleeswaren produces meat products for retail and industry.
