De Groene Weg
In the Netherlands there are 15 butcheries belonging to De Groene Weg. These butcheries sell only meat products originating from organic agriculture.The production chain of organic meat is checked from start to finish by De Groene Weg. In addition to all the legal conditions, De Groene Weg has agreed additional quality requirements with its farmers and other chain partners. These are adopted in daily operations. Only meat produced according to these stringent standards may bear the Groene Weg quality stamp.
In addition to our own quality controls, our organic products are under strict control of SKAL, the Dutch control organisation for organic production.
