Food Safety

No matter how much we would like it: there is no such thing as "100% safe". We can never guard ourselves 100% against criminal conduct or human error, for example. However, at VION Food Netherlands we go to great lengths to make our products are as safe as possible.

We operate in accordance with all internationally recognized quality systems. We check our own work continuously in-house, so that we can act immediately when something somewhere is not up to standard.
We also have our quality systems checked by external control and certification bodies. Examples are HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), BRC (British Retail Consortium), ISO (International Standards Organisation) and IKB (Integrated Chain Control).

And finally, our key buyers pay regular unannounced visits to our plants. They carry out their own inspections to ensure we are doing what we promise. Virtually all analyses of and for VION Food Group are completed in and by certified specialist laboratories.
